Jackson Tupper, Blue, 14 x 14” (2016)
Silkscreen

Jackson Tupper illustrates an ever-growing cast of characters that walk the line between sweet and spooky. Narratives rife with themes of danger and dismemberment become charming, or even pleasant, as Jackson’s illustrative style evokes a sense of whimsy. Recent studies in shape and color interaction have been focused on abstractions of the human form. Originally from Maine, Jackson is an artist living and working in Burlington, Vermont.
